Help Others by Helping Yourself
A realization I had today... I'm a person that want to help others but realizes that ultimately people have to help themselves. This is a paradoxical conundrum.
The more we try to help others, the more we could be at risk of losing ourselves in the process.
If I lose myself in helping others, then I've helped no one since the only one that can help myself is myself.
If people have to ultimately be the ones to help themselves, then how much help am I really doing? And how much harm am I doing myself by trying to help?
